LOWCOUNTRY ARTIST MARKET

Here's what our day looked like at the Artist Market this past Saturday. I had so much fun planning my display the previous week. I mostly used past thrifty finds and things I have actually been using for storage. I was so pleased with the overall look. This is the banner for my table that I mentioned earlier here. All I did was trace printed letters onto the felt, cut out two of each letter, stitch together and stuff. I didn't know if the big, stuffed letters would turn out hopelessly spastic. But they came out nice and even.

Douglas and I had so much fun, and despite the rain, we were kept busy chatting with customers and meeting new people. It was a great experience and an awesome start to participating in craft markets and shows.

Also I am just so bad at counting change. Like even with no coins, just flat dollar amounts. My Waffle House ex-co-workers would have cringed.

  1. Your stand looks adorable! And I love your artwork in the earlier post.

Hear you on the counting change- I used to be pretty good at maths during school and working a customer service job. Now? I practically need a calculator to divide a number by two. Ridiculous! :)

  3. Thanks to both of you! That's what I was going for. I wanted it to feel like it's own little space.
