I've kept a travel journal on every trip to Europe I've gone on with my dad. I collect bits and pieces, tickets and labels, throughout each day and spend a little time each night before bed and writing about the day we've had. I usually didn't write much for every day, but I'm glad I wrote down the little details I did. Looking back through the journal even two and half months after our trip, there are so many little things I don't think I would have remembered.

You can see all the photos from the trip I've shared so far here.

  1. i loveee what you have done to document memories. beaut!

  2. this is amazing! so fun to have all the little reminders of things you've done. . . little things like receipts and flyers and coasters always help me recall tiny details i might not normally remember!

  3. I love this, is such a cool way to remember the places you have been and the things you have done. Keep at it!

  4. this is such a sweet idea, i've tried to do this quite a few times and never very successfully. I'd always forget on night and then leave pages blank so i could stick the stuff in, and then eventually i just had loads of blank pages with plans of what to do on them and it all became a bit forced so i gave up! but sounds like you've perfected the knack, nice one! it'll be so nice in years to come to be able to look back at what you've been up to :)

p.s I tried to add your button to my blog, but it just keeps not showing up, are you sure the code's right and everything? :S

    1. I don't know why that one is not working. If you give me your email, I'll be happy to email you another one that will work. You can email me at wellitsokay@yahoo.com - I'd love to put yours up too!

  5. I love this! I always keep all of my ticket stubs and receipts on vacation for their nostalgia factor. I never do anything with them except keep them together in a folder. But I love this, I will have to take a trip down memory lane and scrapbook my Italy and France trips.

  6. This is gorgeous...I've been looking for ways to document my study abroad for ages now. Would you consider doing a how-to??

Thank you so much for reading and taking the time to say something back. I love hearing what you have to say...
