A friend taught me how to knit freshman year of college. I immediately bought this chunky, mustard yarn, knitted this long, simple scarf, and promptly forgot everything I learned. I enjoy and regularly do a lot of different kinds of crafts. But knitting is just not my thing. I do love this scarf though, dropped stitches and all.
Ah, I wish you still knew how! I could use a scarf like this in my life. It's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteIt's adorable! I actually love knitting and love to figure out all different kinds of stitches :)
ReplyDeleteits perfect.

The scarf is lovely, you should be proud. I was taught how to knit years ago but I wasn't very good always dropping a stich and it never looked neat. Someday I will go back to it and actually make something like you. Maybe I'm more of a sewing kind of gal.

that is the perfect color. I've crocheted a couple scarves, but never knit anything. nice job!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! I always want to make crochet versions of accessories, since that's what I do, but I really want tolearn to knit to get that look.
ReplyDeleteThat scarf is delicious! You should've seen my pathetic attempt at knitting a scarf when I was in Freshman year. Truly laughable. But, seriously girl, you are so good at anything you put your mind to. All kinds of respect going on here!
