A FEW THRIFTED THINGS

We went to a few yard sales in Albany this weekend. Nothing amazing, but it was fun to be out in the cozy weather and look around at houses. One of the sales had two card tables filled with cat figurines. I'm not a cat person, but I couldn't turn down these three kitties with big eyelashes and red pompoms.

Douglas grabbed this potato cookbook for me; I love it and the lots of pages about different methods for frying potatoes. Potato chains. I love this waffle recipe pamphlet because look at that man looking at that waffle.

My mom has a little collection of the figurines that you get in the tea boxes, but I had never seen them in this old packaging. I love the box and the name "whimsies."
