So here are some pieces of what I saw and did in February. I stopped with my photo-a-day a little in to the month because I realized I didn't actually want to do it anymore. Maybe I'll pick it up again another month. So a few of these photos are from what I did do, some of them aren't. At the beginning of the third month of 2013, I'm realizing that a very small number of my 24 Things in 2013 aren't as important to me as I thought they would be. So I've edited a little. And I'm really exciting about focusing on what's really important and meaningful to me. And you can bet making French macarons is still important.

Here's a few more quick shots from our trip to Philadelphia. This always happens when you look back at photos from the past, but this trip feels like a way long time ago. It's probably because Douglas is out to sea now...and I miss him probably more every minute. 

A few people asked what that glorious fabric store is in some of the pictures - it's called Jomar, and it's overwhelming in the best kind of way.

ADIRONDACK BALLOON FESTIVAL SNAPSHOTS

This past Sunday morning, we drove up to Queensbury for the Adirondack Balloon Festival. These few quick snapshots don't even begint to show how amazingly beautiful it was. We have lots and lots more photos from my Nikon that I'm still sorting through and editing. Those will be up later this week! I just wanted to share a quick peak because I couldn't wait. I'm still getting giddy thinking about it.

Our recent trip to NYC was really quick, so I didn't get many photos with my Nikon. I'm glad I have these little snapshots to remember our fun little weekend with. Usually when Douglas and I try to get a photo together, only one of us (or neither) looks reasonably normal and nice. And Douglas likes to make faces. So when we snapped this one at the bottom I was thrilled - one of the best we've ever taken together.
